Zbrożek Studio
The studio of Maja Zbrożek: art, design and creative workshops.
A sketch becomes a technical drawing, and the drawing a finished form. Every studio project is born this way.
One off objects blown, forged and hand sewn. From collectible glass to linen toys.
Painting, printmaking and murals. The joy of creating at full saturation.
Tender workshops for institutions and groups, plus design commissions.

Maja Zbrożek is a visual artist, graphic designer and toy designer. She grew up in an artistic family: her grandfather was a painter and printmaker, her father a sculptor, her mother taught art.
She earned a diploma in toy design at the Art High School in Nałęczów and a Master of Arts degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, Faculty of Graphics and Media Art, in the Graphic Expansion Studio of prof. ET BER Warlikowska.
She creates art glass and functional glass, printmaking, drawing, painting, linen toys and murals. Her work has been shown in Poland, the Czech Republic and Ukraine, including the National Museum in Lviv and the DOX Centre for Contemporary Art in Prague.
From sketch to form: every series starts with a drawing and passes through the hands. Click a tile to enter a collection.
Signature series
Vintage portraits of women from the family archive, including great grandmother Ola and great great grandmother Zofia, receive organic masks: decorative and protective structures knitted, embroidered and built from nature.
The series was shown as a solo exhibition at the Zofia and Wacław Nałkowski Museum in Wołomin.

Intimate craft and creativity workshops: hand sewn toys, handmade notebooks, a second life for clothes in the zero waste spirit, painting and decorating. Led with tenderness, free of pressure and judgement. Materials and setup are included.
We run them for: libraries and cultural centres, foundations and associations, schools and family groups, companies and women circles.
I run the workshops in a duo with sociologist Magdalena Flaga, a social skills trainer experienced in group work.
